Beth Dhar, MSW, Early Childhood Specialist

Beth has a background in early childhood education and social work, with an emphasis on Children, Youth & Family Studies and Violence & Injury Prevention. A St. Louis native, she started her career in Chicago as a Head Start teacher and later as the Interim Director of a preschool program. After graduating with her MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, Beth worked for the Ounce of Prevention Fund in programming for the Educare Learning Network, combining research and policy to advocate for high-quality childcare in targeted communities across the nation. Beth later worked as a program manager for an Early Head Start/Head Start program in Milwaukee before her family moved back to St. Louis.
