The words “childhood sexuality” can be hot buttons in today’s culture. As educators, how do we respond to the questions and sexual behaviors we see in the preschoolers we work with? Discover how to support healthy attitudes toward body parts and respond to children’s curiosity about gender and reproduction. This course teaches participants how to differentiate typical childhood sexual behavior from more concerning behaviors, to avoid over-reactions and missteps when responding to children, and provide strategies for educating and supporting families as they seek to raise balanced, healthy children.
